History
The Johor Bahru Central Police Station, built in 1914, is a Colonial Building that served as the third replacement for the original 'Pos Police' on Bukit Polis. It is located along Jalan Sawmill near the Segget River, which was once the center of trade and commerce. The emergence of Secret Societies among the different clans posed a threat to public law and order, leading to the establishment of this police station.
Significance
The police station remains in service to this day to protect and serve the good people of Johor Bahru.
