Meeting with MOTAC

Today, the JBQR team had the privilege of meeting with the Deputy Director of MOTAC Johor, Deputy Director from Tourism Malaysia Southern Region, and Tourism Johor to present the JOHOR QR (JOHQR) initiative — a digital tourism platform designed to connect places, people, and culture through innovation.

The discussion focused on how JOHQR can serve as a catalyst for statewide tourism transformation, while aligning closely with the principles of the MADANI Digital Economy framework — particularly in driving inclusivity, empowerment, and technology adoption across communities and SMEs.

We’re proud to be contributing to Malaysia’s tourism digitalisation roadmap, and look forward to working with our government partners to unlock a smarter, more immersive travel experience across Johor.
