Teluk Belanga
Baju Melayu Teluk Belanga atau Baju Kurung Johor mula diperkenalkan semasa pemerintahan Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar tatkala Almarhum bersemanyam di Teluk Belanga Singapura dan berpindah ke Tanjung Puteri pada tahun 1866 (kini dikenali Johor Bahru). Almarhum menetapkan supaya baju lelaki labuhnya sehingga kebawah punggung dengan leher yang berlapik lebar dan berkocek dua manakala baju perempuan pula labuhnya hingga bawah lutut dengan alas lehernya halus dan tidak berkocek. Terdapat berbagai bentuk sulaman yang dipadankan pada bahagian leher seperti mata lalat, tulang belut dan insang pari. Semasa pemerintahan Almarhum Sultan Ibrahim ibni Sultan Abu Bakar pakaian tersebut telah diubah mengikut cadangan Allahyarham Jaafar bin Haji Muhammad, Menteri Besar Johor Pertama, kocek pada baju lelaki ditambah menjadi tiga dan alas lehernya halus seperti baju perempuan dan diadakan satu kocek pada baju perempuan. Seluar yang dipakai disebut 'seluar kabul' yang bertongkah atau bertakak seperti seluar Cina dan kakinya lebih luas dari seluar yang dipakai dengan pakaian barat.
