Exploring Johor Baru now easier with new digital platform

JOHOR BARU: Johor Baru has taken a step towards enhancing tourist experiences by launching the JBQR, a cutting-edge digital tourism platform, Media Digital Johor reported.

This initiative places the city as the second in Malaysia, following Kuala Lumpur, to introduce such an innovative tourism product.

The JBQR platform is a dynamic digital ecosystem that aims to excite both locals and tourists by featuring 13 must-visit locations within Johor Baru. Within just two months of its introduction, the platform has successfully garnered 8,000 followers, with plans underway to expand its reach to other districts within the state.

This digital innovation allows the public to upload information about each attraction, accompanied by navigation tools, making it easier for visitors to explore the vibrant city. The JBQR initiative is expected to significantly boost the tourism sector, create jobs, and stimulate the local economy through its community-focused platform.

The introduction of the JBQR platform represents a pivotal shift towards digital tourism in Johor Baru. It not only simplifies the process of planning visits but also enriches the tourist experience by providing detailed, accessible information at the fingertips.
