A landmark of unity and tradition, the Johor Ancient Temple is a must-visit destination this Chinese New Year. Recognized for its historical significance and cultural vibrancy, the temple plays a central role in Johor Bahru’s iconic Chingay Parade, one of the largest and most spectacular celebrations in the region.
What to Expect at Johor Ancient Temple This CNY:
Chingay Parade 2025: Starting from 7 until 8 February 2025 witness colorful floats, lion and dragon dances, and cultural performances as the streets come alive with joyous energy. The parade brings together people of all walks of life, symbolizing unity and prosperity.
Cultural Activities: Enjoy traditional music, lantern displays, and temple blessings that honor the festival's heritage.
